Privacy policy

This policy explains what information the N5 Listening Mock Tests app (“the app”) handles. The app is provided by LIT Inc. (株式会社LIT), Shinjuku i-Land Tower 2F, 6-5-1 Nishi-Shinjuku, Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo 163-1302, Japan.

Summary

• No account or sign-up. We do not ask for your name, email address or phone number.
• Your answers, scores and settings are stored only on your device.
• No advertising and no third-party analytics.
• Purchases are processed by Apple or Google. We never see your payment card details.

1. Information stored on your device

The app saves your test answers, scores, display settings (furigana, translation) and whether you have an active pass. This data stays on your device. It is not sent to us, and it is deleted when you uninstall the app.

2. Purchases

In-app purchases are processed by the Apple App Store or Google Play under their own privacy policies. To check whether you have an active pass and to let you restore it, the app uses RevenueCat, a purchase management service. RevenueCat receives a random, anonymous app user ID, your purchase history for this app (product, date, store transaction ID), and basic device information such as OS version, country and app version. This information is not linked to your name or contact details. We use it only to provide and support your purchases.

3. Daily reminder

If you turn on the daily reminder, the app asks for permission to show notifications and schedules a local notification on your device. The reminder is created on the device itself. No push token or other data is sent to us.

4. Information we do not collect

The app does not access your location, contacts, photos, camera or microphone, and does not track you across other apps or websites.

5. Contacting us

If you contact us through our contact form, we receive the information you enter (such as your email address and message). We use it only to reply to you, and delete it when it is no longer needed.

6. Children

The app is intended for general audiences learning Japanese and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

7. Your choices

You can delete all data stored by the app at any time by uninstalling it. For purchase records held by Apple, Google or RevenueCat, contact us and we will help with access or deletion requests.

8. Changes

If we change this policy (for example, if we add a new feature that handles data), we will update this page and the date above.
